After a 2 hour drive we arrived at Hotel Linda Vista. Sean chose this hotel because it is the closest hotel to the ACTIVE Volcano Arenal and has the most amazing views. We arrived a little early so we had a little time before check-in, which was perfect because we were starving, HOT and STICKY from our drive. As Sean was getting us signed in at the front desk, I took a little walk and snapped a couple of pictures. 
If what they say is true, a picture is worth a thousand words, then these pictures have got to be worth a MILLION! I think Sean did an awesome job planning and arranging this trip, with absolutely no help from me. I've gotta say, I can't complain and I can HONESTLY say, I haven't, except for his driving at certain times during the week, but THATS it!! I'm truly impressed and pleased and very thankful to have each other.
So, Sean's surprise to me was booking the Honeymoon Suite! No family and friends, we did NOT elope, haha!! Sean said he was just practicing for the real thing :) I know what you're thinking dad, and the answer is no, I was NOT the one who ran the rental car into the sign and broke it, it was already like that when we got here! Haha. 
Sean is standing in front of our Honeymoon Suite which is the only one at Hotel Linda Vista. It stands alone and not connected or near any of the other rooms and suites. It has a private patio and just about the entire side of the room is all window giving us a breath-taking view of Lago de Arenal and Volcan Arenal.
Just a short walk up some stairs leads us from our suite to the pool and restaurant. Overcast or not, its very hot and humid and there's noooo escaping it...well, unless you hide out in the room and who wants to do that?!?!
Its about noon and we're both starving. Here, we are heading to the restaurant for a little lunch.
